10-30-2010: Jawam and Razak win Silver and Bronze medals representing DOCS Gym in the prestigious 10th Annual Denver Classic Judo Championships in Colorado . Ladasua Jawam won the silver in the 60 kg (132 lb) division and Abdul Razak Alhassan won the bronze in the “Open” division. This tournament featured 239 entries from all around the nation and the world and included Olympic level competitors. Congratulations Jawam and Razak!
Yesterday (Sunday the 15th of August 2010) six out of seven of DOCS Gym Judoka won medals in Milwaukee’s AAU National Judo Tournament at the Wisconsin State Fair.
-Zaur Jalilzade: Gold in 145 lbs weight class and Gold in “under 200 lbs” Grand Championship
-Abdul Razak Alhassan: Gold in 190 lbs weight class and Gold in “over 200 lbs” Grand Championship
-Brandon Holmberg: Gold in the Heavyweight class
-Trevor Daily: Gold in under 16 Middleweight class
-Kou Lee: Silver in 175 lbs weight class
-Brandon Strong: Silver in under 16 Heavyweight class.
DOCS gym took a total of 6 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals out of 365 competitors at the prestigious “Greater Midwest Submission Hunt“, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Submission Wrestling Tournament.
